Arlene V. Tan | Supervisor, Public Relations
As a supervisor in the public relations department of Q, Arlene Tan specializes in media relations and event planning. Specifically her responsibilities include conducting national and local media outreach, deepening the relationship between her clients and the community, crafting press materials, increasing brand awareness and managing accounts.
Prior to Q, Arlene worked at SK+G (Schadler Kramer Group) for three years starting out as an account executive and moving up to senior account executive. During her tenure there, Arlene honed her skills as a public relations professional coordinating the opening of retail stores and representing large corporations as well as small businesses.
Before coming to SK+G, Arlene worked for almost three years at The Mirage Hotel and Casino where she was employee events and philanthropy coordinator as well as diversity trainer. In her position, Arlene was responsible for increasing employee morale by providing employees with events such as Employee of the Month/Year receptions and employee recognition through parties and newsletters. She was also a chairperson for the MGM MIRAGE Voice Foundation, an organization within the MGM MIRAGE corporation that focuses employee charitable contributions to non-profit agencies and community organizations. As a diversity trainer, Arlene organized workshops and taught employees about tolerance and understanding other cultures.

Arlene is a 2001 honors graduate of University Nevada Las Vegas with a bachelor in communications.
