Estie | Media Coordinator

As media coordinator for Q Advertising and Public Relations, Estie is responsible for the coordination of all media time spot reports and the distribution of media traffic. She is also a proof-reader for many Q documents and reports, the first person to greet you at the Q office and often the first friendly voice to answer your call.

Throughout her career, Estie has held many different positions within the corporate world. Before coming to Q in 2005, Estie spent 15 years as the corporate secretary for Nevada Savings & Loan, which eventually became PriMerit Bank and later Wells Fargo, and another 10 years as an administrative assistant for the CPA firm, Alexander Grant & Company. Before entering the financial sector, Estie spent 20 years of her career as an Interior Designer for Sheppard’s Furniture, decorating and furnishing many of the famous hotels of the Las Vegas Strip.

Estie began her career at prestigious Advertising firm, Foote Cone & Belding, in their media placement department at the tender age of 17, immediately after graduating from Woodbury Business College in Southern California. In this position, she handled the scheduling of ads and media placement for clients, including Union Oil Company.

Estie was born and raised in Beverly Hills, California and moved to Las Vegas in 1948, where she has stayed ever since. She has a daughter and a son, Q’s own Sharry Quillin, and Steve Skalla. She also has two granddaughters, Shannon and Karlee Skalla. She lives in Sun City with her husband, Glen, and their two Wire-haired Dachshunds, Lucy Bear and Josie Bruin – both “UCLA graduates.” Estie is an avid gardener and enjoys spending weekends in her garden with the dogs.
