Tim Quillin | President, CEO
Work over 25 years in virtually every position inside the advertising and public relations business and you pick up some pearls of wisdom. Tim's treasure chest is full. After studying Radio, TV and Film at California State University, Northridge, Tim moved to Las Vegas to join his father's advertising agency in 1981. He wrote, directed and produced broadcast and print advertisements for Nevada Power Company, Las Vegas Athletic Clubs, Frontier Savings and US Home among others.
Tim honed his public relations skills from 1984-1990. He was an Executive Assistant for Clark County District Attorney Bob Miller with responsibilities including speech writing, community relations, and press relations. Tim stayed with him in that capacity when Miller was elected to the office of Lieutenant Governor and, ultimately, as Governor of the State of Nevada.
In 1991, Tim left to form Quillin & Co. Advertising and Public Relations. Over the course of the next ten years, he built it into the fifth largest agency in the state with 33 employees and over $12,000,000 in annual billings. The agency handled a wide range of distinguished clients including Venetian Resort Hotel and Casino, Pulte Homes (Nevada and Arizona), Blue Note Jazz Club, Courtesy Automotive Group, BankWest of Nevada, Sprint Communications, Las Vegas Art Museum, World Market Center, Valley AutoMall, MRC Focus Group, St. Rose Dominican Hospital, Commercial Bank of Nevada, Vegas Chips, Durable Homes, Ricardo's Restaurant and various political campaigns (names upon request).
As a community leader, Tim currently serves as Chairman of the board of directors for the local American Heart Association. Formerly, he has served in leadership board positions for the American Cancer Society, Nevada Childhood Cancer Foundation, Nevada Citizens for the Arts, Nevada Arts Advocates, Nevada Association for the Handicapped, Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce's Leadership Las Vegas, Junior Achievement of Southern Nevada, Entertainment Development Corporation, and Nevada Council on Economic Education.
